STEPHEN R. HARRIS
Stephen R. Harris, born in Seattle, Washington, on October 9, 1948. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in September 1974 and the State Bar of California in June, 1975, as well as having been admitted to the United States District Court, District of Nevada and the United States District Court, for the Eastern District of California.
He was educated at the University of Southern California, receiving his B.A. Degree in 1971, followed by attendance at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he received his J.D. Degree in June, 1974.
He worked with the Law Firm of Rogers, Monsey and Woodbury in Las Vegas, Nevada from September 1974 through December 1975 and then moved to Reno, Nevada, where he served as an assistant to the Federal Public Defender from January 1976 through August 1976. After leaving the Federal Public Defender's Office, he was a solo practitioner in Reno, Nevada, specializing primarily in business bankruptcy. He is also a member of the Washoe County Bar Association, State Bar of California and State Bar of Nevada.
His area of practice is primarily in the area of debtor and creditors rights, bankruptcy, bankruptcy Chapter 11 for Debtors, commercial litigation within the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Representative clients have been most of the Northern Nevada Bankruptcy Panel Trustees, Great American Airways, Riverside Hotel and Casino, Supply One, Lindamen Produce, EA Collins Development, Credit Suisse Bank, City of West Wendover, 3-D Radio, Incom Communications and others.
Stephen was nominated as a Super Lawyer for 2010 and has had the highest rating from Martin Dale-Hubbell lawyer ratings being highest AVA rated for fifteen years.

Ms. Petroni grew up on a farm in Yerington, Nevada, the daughter of an Italian immigrant father who came to the U.S when he was sixteen and could not even order a meal at a diner because he knew no English. Ms. Petroni was the first lawyer in her family. Ms. Petroni practiced in California for about six months prior to practicing in Reno, Nevada in the area of family law, probate, estate planning and bankruptcy. Ms. Petroni has three grown daughters. Ms. Petroni enjoys outdoor sports such as wakeboarding, skiing, golfing and hiking and is likely to be open to any new travel or outdoor adventure. She generally works out three times a week to get rid of the stress from the New Economy.

CHRIS D. NICHOLS-Associate
Mr. Nichols has been an associate with Belding, Harris & Petroni, Ltd., since 1997. Mr. Nichols' practice concentrates primarily in business and consumer bankruptcy, including debtor and creditor representation. Mr. Nichols' practice further includes commercial and business law and real estate transactions. Mr. Nichols' bankruptcy practice has included representation of debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and trustees in Chapter 11, 13, and 7 bankruptcies, both small and complex cases. With respect to Mr. Nichols commercial and business law and real estate transactions practice, he has represented a diverse portfolio of clients from individuals to publicly traded companies ranging from simple to complex transactions in Nevada and throughout the United States.
Mr. Nichols obtained his J.D. in 1984 from the University of Utah, School of Law, where he was a William H. Leary Scholar, and Senior Staff Member, Joul11al of Contemporary Law, Journal of Energy Law and Policy, 1984. He eal11ed his B.S. in 1981 in Political Science, cum laude from Weber State University.
Mr. Nichols is a member of the State Bars of Nevada and Utah and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, United States District Court for the District of Utah, United States Distlict Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Comi of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Nichols is also a member of the Washoe County Bar Association, Northern Nevada Bankruptcy Bar Association and American Bankruptcy Institute.
